Au Panier Vert

Marie Odile Smets is the chair of Au Panier Vert – a successful farmer cooperative in Northern France, focused around a Farm Shop. In this new video, she explains how the cooperative started, how it is run, and why it has become profitable for the community of farmers that own it.

The video is being used for participants in the third Moldovan Lab Experiment, however, it is hoped it will be a helpful tool for anyone wishing to set up a similar initiative.

Au Panier Vert (The Green Basket) is recognised as a great example of collaboration by BOND. Earlier in our project, this cooperative hosted 10 European farmer representatives as part of the French study tour.
