Permaculture training opportunity in Hungary

  • Date 2018-06-18

Permaculture is a design system for creating sustainable human environments (Bill Mollison).

A permaculture training will take place in Hungary in July 2018, from 14th to 28th. The training will be held in English and Hungarian. There will be a strong emphasis on learning as a social and collective process, where learners and the educators engage in dialogue and negotiate information to create meaning and develop contextually relevant knowledge linked to sustainable farming practices.

Permaculture integrates land, resources, people and the environment through mutually beneficial synergies – imitating the no waste, closed loop systems seen in diverse natural systems. Permaculture studies and applies holistic solutions that are applicable in rural and urban contexts at any scale to create ecologically sustainable and resilient human habitat.
